Blogger's Challenge - Week #9 -Get Punchy

This week's blogger's challenge is to use punches in a different way. This is a halloween box that I made using the small and large tag punch and the Booglie Eyes set.

Below is a punch cheat sheet that I made using ideas from Splitcoaststampers.

Scallop Punch Ideas

I love the new scallop punch!! This is one of my favorite accessories in the new catalog!

My stamping friend Terri Cappobianco designed this card using the scallop punch with the new wasabi and pomegranite colors.

I Cased the layout and made a Holiday version using metallic silver cardstock and navy ink. One is 3" x 9" and one is 3" x 6". I used the snowflake spot stamp set and the new Snow wheel that will be available in the winter mini catalog on September 1st.

One Page Wonder Holiday Surprise

These are 14 Holiday cards that are made with one sheet of double sided designer paper and 3 colors of coordinating cardstock.

I am teaching this class next Tuesday the 4th in my stamping studio!
I love the new double sided papers!
This set of cards are made with the Dashing Deisgner Paper, Certainly Celery, River Rock and Old Olive cardstocks. I used the new hostess set Perfect Presentation and Hung up on the Holidays to create the stamped images.

Blogger's Challenge - Week #8

The Bloggers Challenge this week was to use something in our world as inspiration for a card.

I of course had to do soemthing more difficult as I took the design and made it card size while still keeping the look of a quilt.

I used the design from my favorite quilt as an inspiration and made a card using the new Apple Cider papers that will be available September 1st as part of the Holiday collection! These papers would make great Thanksgiving favors or placecards!

See the photo below of my quilt.

Variations on a Theme

These are some cards that were made over the weekend. My sister was visiting and designed the With Gratitude card on the right.

I of course, then had to CASE it and make a couple of small modifications! Thanks for the inpsiration Marcy!

Cardstock: So Saffron, Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, (Sahara sand, Close to Cocoa on the two cards on the left)

With Gratitude Stamp Set stamped with always artichoke ink. I used a blender pen on the bottom card to watercolor over the leaf and add a few other fall colors.

Blogger's Challenge - Week #7

Sorry this week's post is late... We had a family reunion over the weekend and I am still recovering my house!

Week #7 Challenge - Something altered

I chose our great new Chipboard frames from the Ginormous Chipboard Selection and some of our new Stampin' Up! colors. The picture is all of the SanClemente kids in the next generation!

I sponged the frame using the new soft sky ink. The frame is stamped using Doodle This and Blue Bayou ink. The picture is mounted behind the sky blue designer paper with an oval cut in the middle. This is outlined with another oval cut from our Not Quite Navy paper. I like the way the blues coordinate! I punched flowers and layered with a rhinestone brad in the middle and added chipboard hearts to the frame!
Check out my friends in the Blogger's Challenge group to see their inspiring ideas! Enjoy!

Blogger's Challenge

Good Morning! I have joined a group of fellow stampers in a blogger's challenge. We each make a card with a given design and post it each week! This week's challenge is the card format on page 165 of the new catalog! Enjoy
