This week's blogger's challenge was to find something in our daily lives that inspires us - either in color combination or layout or symetry of the object.
I went around and around on what to use and finally settled on my chair that I use every day. It is funny how things around us are taken for granted and we never actually stop to look at the astetics of the item.
This is a Hitchcock chair that we inherited when cleaning out a Great Aunt's house. I have always loved the detail of the painting on the back of the chair and thought that I would use that for my inspiration.
So I created this card using the Apple Cider designer papers and the Give Thanks Fall set. I didn't have a stamp with a bowl of frit so used the pail of apples instead. Enjoy!

Cool chair Marilyn! Your card came out great.
You captured the same country feel -- great job, Marilyn!
Great job! The apple bucket stamp was perfect for this.
I like how you added color to your card without deviating from the original inspiration! Neat!
very pretty - love the DSP too!!
I haven't used that DSP yet...you've inspired me to get it out! Great card!
Very pretty Marilyn. I love the Autumn theme on your card. Your inspiration piece is beautiful also. Ida
Great card Marilyn, I love that you didn't replicate the colors of the chair, but just the idea of it!
