Blogger's Challenge - Week #23 - Different Points of View

This week's challenge is to use one stamp set and make two different items. These are some cards that I made using the Snow Burst stamp set.

The card on top is made with Soft Sky Cardstock, Blue Bayou and white. The snow bursts are stamped with blue bayou on white. I used a brayer to layer the soft sky over the white. I then used glitter to highlight the snow burst on the smaller white piece. The center is embellished with a rhinestone brad.

The second card is made with glossy white cardstock and brilliant blue. I used the snow wheel and snow burst set stamped on the glossy white with versamark. I used a brayer to layer with the blue spectrum pad and then used a pearl from the Pretties kit to embellish the snow burst in the middle.

Make sure to check out my other Blogging friends! I'm sure their ideas are great!

Blogger's Challenge - Week #22 - Inspiration

Happy Thanksgiving all! This week's challenge was to use something in everyday life as inspiration. This was an arrangement that I made yesterday for our Thanksgiving table with Bittersweet. I used our new set - Time well spent to copy the look of the Bittersweet.

Enjoy! Don't forget to check out my fellow blogger's posts also!

Blogger's Challenge - Week #21 - Color Challenge

Sorry that I have been so absent the past couple of weeks. I have been really busy prepping for the holidays and getting items ready for the craft fairs that I have been attending.

This week's blogger's challenge was to use the colors pumpkin, chocolate chip, brocade blue and olive green in a stamped item.
I received my new incentive set Time Well Spent on Friday so I decided that I woud make something with this great set!
I love this new set! Thank you Stampin' Up! Being a demo and receiving free sets to play with is just one of the bonuses! Ask me more about being a demo!
Don't forget to check out my fellow bloggers and see their ideas with this color combination. I know that a few of them have also posted ideas with this great new set!

Mini Holiday Flip Book

This is a mini flip book that I made using the Dashing designer series paper, real red cardstock and old olive.

This would be a great gift for grandparents - use to make a brag book for the holidays.

Card Portfolios

These are some simple card portfolios that I made using the Haute Coutre set. The portfolio holds 8 cards and envelopes. A great idea for a teacher's gift.

More Craft Fair Ideas

These are a couple of boxes that I purchased at Traget. I covered with our Designer Series Paper and took to the craft fairs that I have been attending.

Why are all the craft fairs in Nov. and Dec?

Craft Fair Items

Tis the season for Craft Fairs!

I have been working lots of hours to prepare for several craft fairs over the next couple of weeks. These are calendars and matching journals that I made to sell. All of my calendars sold out today! So time to make more!

Thanks to Susan Romito for the idea of the large paper clips. I made a few of those and they also sold today.

Blogger's Challenge - Week #19 - Embellishments

This week's challenge is to design an item with embellishments. Anyone that uses Stampin' UP! products knows that there are lots of great embellishments. Embellishments are one of my favorite things about SU as they can dress up any crafting project!

This is a card that was featured in the July Stampin' Success. I used this design for a workshop that I had in July! The pretties kit is great! You can use make the flowers any color to match your project color scheme by coloring the flowers with our great inks!

the card is made with River Rock cardstock, sky blue designer paper and two flowers layered from the Pretties kit. The larger flower is dyed with sky blue ink to match the paper.
